An adult version of a Halloween candy bar – a delicious and decadent boozy treat to savor on a crisp Halloween evening, as the kids laugh and scamper between the houses, and the leaves twirl in the wind, and the jack-o-lanterns burn bright.
A recipe inspired by the winner of the 2020 Fall Recipe Challenge, Rachael Citron.
Ingredients:
1 oz Blended Aged Rum
1 oz Batavia Arrak (can substitute for more rum)
0.75 oz Orgeat Syrup
.25 oz Heavy Cream or Coconut Cream
0.25 oz Creme de Cacao
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with dark chocolate shavings.
